TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: December 30, 2025

Welcome to Right to Parent Action, Inc. By using our website, signing our petitions, or engaging with our content, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language because legal documents don't need to be incomprehensible.

Acceptance of Terms

When you visit right2parent.org, subscribe to our updates, sign a petition, or use any of our services, you're agreeing to follow these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our website. We reserve the right to deny access to anyone for any reason, though we'd only do that in extreme circumstances like harassment or abuse of our systems.

What You Can Do Here

Our website exists to inform parents about threats to family sovereignty and mobilize support for legislation that protects parental rights. You can read our articles, sign petitions, share content on social media, subscribe to updates, and contact us with questions or your own stories.

You're welcome to link to our content, share our articles, and use our materials for personal, educational, or advocacy purposes. We want this information to spread far and wide.

What You Can't Do

Don't use our website to harass anyone, spread malware, attempt to hack our systems, or engage in illegal activity. Don't impersonate us or pretend to represent Right To Parent Action, Inc without authorization. Don't scrape our website with bots or automated tools to harvest data (though search engines can index our public content).

Don't submit false information when signing petitions or contacting elected officials through our platform. We're fighting for authenticity and truth, and that starts with our own supporters being honest about who they are.

Intellectual Property

The content on our website, including articles, graphics, logos, and design elements, belongs to Right to Parent or our content creators. We license most of our content under terms that allow sharing with attribution, but you can't claim our work as your own or use it for commercial purposes without permission.

If you believe we've inadvertently used your copyrighted material without permission, contact us at info@right2parent.org, and we'll address it promptly.

User-Generated Content

When you sign a petition, leave a comment, or submit your story, you grant us permission to use that content in our advocacy efforts. This includes sharing your name, location, and comments with elected officials, displaying testimonials on our website, and including your voice in our campaigns.

We may edit submissions for length, clarity, or to remove personally identifiable information you might have accidentally included. We won't change the substance of what you said.

You retain ownership of your content, but you give us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it in our advocacy work. If you change your mind later, contact us, and we'll remove your submission when possible, though we can't recall content already delivered to lawmakers.

By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to share it, that it's truthful to the best of your knowledge, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.

Third-Party Links

Our website links to news articles, government websites, social media platforms, and other external resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. When you click an external link, you're leaving our website and entering someone else's digital property.

Petitions and Advocacy

When you sign a petition through our platform, we deliver your signature (typically including your name, location, and any comment you provided) to the elected officials or organizations targeted by that campaign. Once delivered, we have no control over how recipients use that information, though it becomes part of the public record in most cases.

Signing a petition doesn't create any legal obligation on your part beyond what you've explicitly agreed to. You're not joining an organization, entering a contract, or committing to future action unless you separately choose to do so.

Disclaimers

Right To Parent Action, Inc provides information and advocacy tools, but we don't provide legal advice. If you need guidance specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. Our content represents our analysis and opinions about legislation, policy, and parental rights, but we're not infallible.

Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We work hard to keep our information accurate and our systems running smoothly, but we can't guarantee our website will always be available, error-free, or completely secure.

We make no promises about the outcomes of our advocacy efforts. Legislation is unpredictable, and even the best campaigns sometimes fail. Your participation helps, but results depend on factors beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Right to Parent and our board members, staff, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our campaigns. This includes direct damages, indirect damages, lost profits, or any other consequences, whether we could have foreseen them or not.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limitations, so parts of this section might not apply to you.

Indemnification

If your use of our website or services causes legal problems for Right To Parent Action, Inc (for example, if you submit defamatory content or violate someone's intellectual property), you agree to defend us, cover our legal costs, and compensate us for any damages we incur. This doesn't apply if we caused the problem ourselves.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is covered in our Privacy Policy, which you should read. That document is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms as our organization evolves, new legal requirements emerge, or we add new features to our website. When we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our homepage and send an email to subscribers. Your continued use of our website after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

If you disagree with the updated terms, stop using our website. We'll be disappointed, but we respect your decision.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, where Right To Parent Action, Inc is based, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wyoming unless both parties agree to arbitration or another forum.

Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact us first and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally. Most problems can be solved with a simple conversation.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of these terms will remain in full effect.

No Waiver

If we don't immediately enforce a provision of these terms, that doesn't mean we've waived our right to enforce it later. We're not required to take action against every violation, though we reserve the right to do so.

Complete Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Right to Parent regarding use of our website and services. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Our Commitment to You

We're fighting against a system that wants to treat parents like incompetent children who need government supervision. We believe you're capable of making decisions for your own family, and we believe you're capable of understanding these terms without a law degree.

If anything here is unclear, ask us. We'd rather explain now than deal with misunderstandings later.

Thank you for standing with us in the fight for parental rights and family sovereignty.
